Do Nuna carseats ever go on sale?

Anonymous
My baby is 9 months and we have an infant seat that we soon will replace with a convertible one. I am pretty sure we will get the Nuna Rava. Does anyone know if it ever goes on sale or is the price the price with that one?

Nordstrom occasionally has them on sale, but it’s not predictable.

Yes but only once or twice a year. The Nordstrom anniversary sale is late summer. I saw it on sale there when I was looking. They also go on sale on Black Friday usually. I was stocking them for a long time and finally bought it on Black Friday…. Other than that I had sale alerts and didn’t find any discounts

I bought the Rava full price after doing a ton of research. Not worth it in my opinion. I'm getting ready to buy another seat for my younger kid and going to get a graco whatever.

We also have the Rava and now that our child is older and still rear facing, we found out it has very little legroom.

Well to be fair, that's true of most car seats at that point. But I agree the Rava is not worth the price. I liked the look of it and looked at it for a long time, but a friend told me in the end they all wind up getting messy and to just get something we didn't hate that wasn't $500. We wound up finding a Maxi Cosi Pria 85 on sale and it's been great (rear facing until almost 4, though kid is on the small side). The only thing I don't love about it, that I realized after we bought it, is that it's not steel frame and therefore not as safe as some other convertible seats. So I don't know if it's what I would buy again, but I've been really happy with it.

I got mine during the annual Nordstrom anniversary sale, but that’s over the summer. We’re very happy with it.

We have a Rava and also the Graco Extend2fit. The graco definitely has more leg room, but the rava is much easier to adjust (I have a hard time tightening the straps in the graco, and it bugs me every time I use it).

Car seat tech here: You don’t need to spend that much money on a car seat. Graco seats are the easiest to install correctly , but get an brand that is in your price range that has a high height/weight limit for RF.

Nothing more fun than getting something on sale!

Anything available at Buy Buy Baby you can usually also find, via search, at Bed Bath and Beyond and use the 20% off coupons.

Not on sale, but I got mine from Bloomingdale’s when Rakuten cashback was 20%.

+1 having gone through multiple eats with our 3 kids, I realize all seats are the same safety wise. What you’re paying for is ease of installation (the rigid latch and britax’ click tight are amazing), ease of tightening the straps and adjusting height or washing the seat cover. I’m also hated our Graco and got rid of it bc I felt like it wasn’t as easy to tighten.
