Does your team tuck their shirts in?

If so why or why not?

Because the coach instructs them to do so and won't stand for any nonsense.

No. Coaches who care bout that lose in the end once players pull them out. Red herring for newbie rec coaches.

You don't know this coach. No-one dares pull their shirt out. And he's not a shouter or anything - the kids just understand he means what he says. he's a good coach too.

^^ teams like that go nowhere. Who cares.

Leave em untucked like the EPL.

This coach sounds like a anal retentive goof.

Who cares if they are ticked or not? Such a waste of energy to bother with.

We have a mix of tucked and untucked on my daughter's U10 team. Our girls' shorts and jersey are the same color, so it doesn't really stand out either way. My daughter prefers untucked.

I remember when I played that the we used to have to start the game with shirts tucked in, but it doesn't seem that anyone really cares these days - at least not at my daughter's level.

Well if the shirts are too long, tuck em in. If not, leave em out.

it’s typically a refs decision. They’ll tell teams to tuck them in sometimes. Most don’t care though.

Actually it’s not. Refs are there to ensure player safety and enforcement of rules and relegations. Which do not include or say anything about tucking shirts in or not.

How do I know you ask? Former player turned ref and coach.

He coaches two teams and both are extremely good and doing very well indeed.
