| It was a beautiful afternoon today so I decided to take a walk from my home to Lewinsville Park in Mclean. I notice that there are so many girls participating in soccer. Has it always been that way? |
| Because it's exceptionally low contact. |

"Americans are so good and so deep, on most days the only ones who can beat them are themselves. And that internal competition couldn’t be more fierce." Girls Soccer in DMV in a nutshell.

| This is one of America’s hotbed for girls talent |
|
"family-centric" is code for something, not sure your angle but thank you for acknowledging Trans people are
an important inclusion to soccer and in ways that people who represent the rest of the queer acronym are already participating. |
| You also hit up the mclean pool practice where the entire field area was likely filled with girls. |
| Originally it started because of George Mason in the 1980s and they had a decent soccer program for women, one of the first |
+1. You showed up to a field when the girls were training. So of course it a lot of girls. But yes, it’s because of grudge mason. What the hell. The person walked up on a girls practice. |
George mason. |
It means women that are (get ready) centered on the family, not their career or extending their early 20s into their mid-30s. Lol the BlueAnons are always looking for codes. Whoever reported that comment proved it to be true; American men are starving for women and if those Reinas came up you'd see the left screeching for a wall. And yes the USWNT should definitely have some trans players. Please let's get that trending. |
| I grew up in MD suburbs in the 80s-90s and felt like I was one of the very few girls who didn't at least play a year or two of neighborhood soccer. So, yes, there have been many girls participating in soccer for a while. |
| It starts as a social thing for most girls. Fewer play (or stay in) softball unless they're sports inclined. My girls besties have been on the same team since they were 6 and it's a social activity and great exercise. In the middle schools its becoming a status to be on travel (eye roll) |
Yep!! I played travel in the 80s. Year-round. Indoor in the winter. I actually went on more tournaments than my kids do. My sister played as well. We also played HS soccer. You got to be aggressive and contact. It is a team sport with lots of running. |
And has been since the 80s. |
|
USWNT - That is why it is so popular.
They are winners and every girl wants to be a winner. They identify with them. Other girl's sports have nowhere near the publicity or watchability. |
