How would you rank these schools if you got into all 5 and location wasn't an issue?

SAES
Field

SAES if athletics are important
Field if any learning disabilities
Burke if no disabilities

I don't know anything about Flint hill.

Op here, I should add this is for high school.

What would your pros and cons be for these schools?

Sheridan would be dead last for high school.

And location is always an issue. Rule out either SAES or Flint hill based on location.

Op here, the Sheridan poster was someone else. We are moving to the area and we have flex work schedules so really location isn’t an issue. We would just move somewhere that would be convenient for school. Applied to several places based mostly on our interactions with the schools.

I think if I were to take one out of the running it might be Field. It’s hard to pinpoint why, they all seem like great schools but it’s hard to choose from a distance so just going with gut feelings.

Do you want to live in DC, VA or MD? Three very different places? Figure out best housing and then pick the school

Probably either MD or VA. Burke is close to a metro so if that school is chosen then either md or va close to a convenient metro.

We don’t have a strong preference. We’ll most likely move again in 7-8 years.

I really want opinions, pros and cons, about these schools. The school choice is our deciding factor.

What age/interests kids?

Burke is a good location and easily accessible by metro but unattractive space, no campus, no fields. That would matter to me.

I’d pick between SAES and Flint Hill.
