| I am hoping to gain some inspiration from this board. Where I am living, we are still in lockdown — since Xmas. No gym, but I have been using my treadmill and some small weights. I made sure to do at least 4 workouts a week. This week I have only worked out every other day. I am losing my motivation during this pandemic. Any suggestions for how I can get back on track for this week? |

Three things for me:
1--I think working out at the same time every day helps --for me before breakfast. Then breakfast is sort of a reward for finishing. 2--Putting on my workout clothes right when I get up will make it happen. 3-- Lastly, a podcast or audio book that you don't listen to anytime except when you work out-- another reason to look forward to it. Nothing magical but these things help me. |
| Work out in the mornings before you get your day started. Maybe try running outside to switch it up. Don't look at the work out as a chore, but something to look forward to. Think of as your "you" time. |
| Thanks for the suggestions. I wish I could run outside where I am right now, but I have to wait a couple of months. I made a plan to do 100 reps of two movements throughout the work day (squats, KB swings, box jumps, etc) in addition to the treadmill. I am using a journal to track my progress. |
