This is a huge pickup for Herndon and the western part of Fairfax County. NA has done a great job and feel with Greg’s knowledge & connections, the pair will have a positive impact on the club.

What/who is NA?

Is the rec program that serious that they need someone so experienced?

Herndon has a travel program too. I think they play in the CCL!

It’s Herndon’s TD, Nick Arzani.

Thoughts on Herndon's new TD, Greg Andrulis? Big name for a small club but hearing that things aren't being handled great by the HYS Board. Teams worried they will lose coaches on the girls' side, still having trouble recruiting players (though no surprise for a small club surrounded by so many other clubs), losing good players to ECNL/GA programs. I have a DS (younger) in the program and wondering whether to stay or go. NA, the TD, will have his contract renewed and wants to bring big changes to the club. Not sure how sustainable the club will be if the girls' side loses teams/players/coaches. Most paying players in the club are on the girls' side. Worried what it means for boys' side and club overall.

How young? Is she happy? Does she enjoy playing and going to play? If so, don't worry.

If/when your DS is ready for travel just keep an open mind and maybe look into other clubs but also be realistic about the end game.

From the outside Herndon looks like a very, very CCL town club that punches above their weight. On the boys side they had teams placed very high in the Loudoun showcase and get good results. On the girls side, they have placed players in college programs from their top teams and also have a connection to McLean’s ECNL program through TF.

I have been very impressed by the way they develop kids and the soccer the Herndon teams play - girls and boys. I agree - they punch well above their weight.

Very happy having DC at Herndon. Went for the team, not so much the club. Having been there for a bit though I’ve been happy with club and like that despite being in CCL they are planning on improving things to be more visible when it comes to college recruitment.

I feel like this entire thread is self-promotion by Herndon or whoever this guy Greg is.
