Will Peloton revive my lumpy, dumpy, middle-aged mom bod?

What will it do for my figure?

We don't know. It matters how much you eat, how hard you ride the bike...

Riding a bike alone will not transform you. If you do it along with the other types of workouts and work on your diet, you should definitely see an improvement. Consistency is key.

Agreed, you need to do the strength workouts in addition to the bike to see real change. I completed both Crush Your Core and Total Strength and I recommend them both

There’s nothing peloton can do that any other cardio equipment can’t do. It just has the screen if you need something like that to encourage cardio. Real change doesn’t come from cardio - it will come from weight training. I suppose peloton offers those videos but there are thousands, for free, on YouTube.

Riding bikes is simple cardio and will do nothing for your core. You will just get fatter. I laugh so hard at people who thinking a Pelotone will get them looking like they are in shape. Their PR is amazing at convincing so many people.

Doesn't out of the saddle work your core some?

Peloton got me in shape. I went from 30 lbs overweight after back to back pregnancies and years of breastfeeding to looking like a swimsuit model. Peloton and diet alone.

Um, cardio makes you fat?

I love my peloton, but the key here is pushing yourself and consistency.

Take the rides, but also mix it up with the other work outs they offer.
That and eat a healthy diet.

You can do it!

You really need to see the research that came out of The Biggest Loser. No amount of exercise is going to change your body. You need to restrict your diet and use exercise to supplement that diet. Then you need to keep at it forever. Exercise will make you happier and feel better, but you can’t really turn back the hands of time. I personally think a rower is a much better investment.

^ Doesn't anyone see the irony in Peloton admitting that their core product is insufficient in meeting your goals? Now you have to pay them $$$ per month just to workout with what should be free. Or spend even more for the revolutionary new concept of a ....treadmill.

You know, if you are serious about working out, you'd probably be serious enough to just Google them.

When did they admit that, when they released the treadmill? I think that was more taking advantage of the hype than admitting the bike doesn't work
