Did I just think of a genius baby hack? Scared to try it

We finally found a swaddle that LO sleeps well in but I refuse to buy multiples of it since LO will soon need to transition out of swaddling and we’ve spent enough money. So when LO spits up or poops on it, I hand wash it and lay it out to dry but this takes long. I have a baby brezza bottle sterilizer that has a button for dry only. Is it wishful thinking that I could place this single cotton swaddle in the baby brezza and dry it? It would be so much better than using our giant dryer or waiting hours for air dry.

I mean, if it works it works but this seems like crazy. Just buy a second swaddle. You own a baby brezza product so I assume are not struggling too much financially. Go to a consignment store and you can get some backups for like $5-$10 bucks.

You can get sleep sacks that swaddle in the chest area and can transition to the next phase of sleep.

Umm I would buy you a second swaddle if you are that desperate for one.

Do. Not. Put something contaminated with human fecal matter in the same apparatus you put bottles for your child. Pleas envision yourself explaining how your infant has contracted E. Coli to a medical professional...because you don’t want to spend $30???

Yes, you are a genius. I love millennials.

Yeah is this some $50 swaddle? Our favorites were those Velcro swaddles that you could get in a pack of three for like $30.

I would be concerned that it would mess up the Brezza, which I’m guessing cost a heck of a lot more than your one swaddle.

Why are you, an old person, hanging out on the expectant mother board?

Um, what? You want to put something with poop or vomit into the same thing that prepares your kids bottles?? Buy a second one and then sell them when you’re done to get some money back. Throw it in with whatever laundry could be done that day - small load of towels, your clothes, whatever. But I wouldn’t hand wash and try to use the bottle making machine.

Why don’t you just put it in the clothes dryer, which is an apparatus designed to dry clothing? Why use your bottle sterilizer?

Oh my god, just buy another blanket. What is wrong with you?

Some of us are just older millennials and love giggling at shit like this.

Yes OP. Great idea.

+1

- an older millennial who is more gen x in spirit but who would never add to the steady drumbeat of whiners on all sides disparaging us

Oh good lord just buy a second swaddle. Most of infancy and toddlerhood is spending money on stuff the kid uses for a few weeks at best. Kids are just a money suck.

This can't be real. OP please buy a second swaddle. Or put it in the dryer??
