Did I just think of a genius baby hack? Scared to try it

Gross. Please use a washer dryer.

You don't need to sterilize bottles or pump parts each use. Hot soapy water and a brush (like you would do for any dish) is best. Many scientists are recommending u not sterilize each time due to the new findings about micro plastics ingestion in babies. From the factory, sure give a sterilize cycle but daily use should be soap and water.

Next door is an app. It is not baby specific but they have postings about your neighborhood and people sell stuff on it. They have a whole baby section. Right now in my neighborhood there are 6 different posts selling swaddles or newborn gear.

Craigslist and Facebook marketplace are two others. Or ask a friend who has kids. You can't swaddle them after 4 months anyway so quick turn around back to friend.

Why are you, an old person, hanging out on the expectant mother board?

I'm not the PP, but you do realize some of us are Gen X, right? I know, I know, how dare I, I'm too old, my children will suffer, someone should have banned my ancient, dusty uterus from reproducing already. But they didn't, and here we are.

Wait until they find out I have a 16 year old AND a newborn. Duty but still in good working order.

Signed,
Not a Susan

I just can't get over making fun of millennial women to a group of...mostly millennial women. Are you really so insecure in your choices you have to bash others? I'd work on that before you have any more kids.

Did your sense of humor depart before or after you got pregnant?

It's a snarky response, but is it bashing? No. (I'm not the PP).

My sense of humor is fine. PP is just an as*hole picking on OP.

Np here, but newsflash, dc is full of 43 year old first time moms. They were enjoying nirvana in flannel when the millennials were watching Sesame Street.

The average age of a first time mother in Alexandria is 30. Montgomery County is 29. DC is 28.

Maybe you should start a board for granny moms where you can bash millennials without having to defend yourselves.
