What's wrong with this house (Arl edition)

I always hear people raving about Westover on here. Is this house in Westover proper? Is it just overpriced for what it is? Sitting for 35 days so far

Massive, massive flooding in that area two summers ago. Note all of the new stuff they’ve done to the house.

It faces the new school construction site. And the basement apartment is not something your typical family is looking for. Small yard.

Thanks!

Is that an elem. school directly across the street? And a Wells Fargo parking lot next door? Deal breakers.

Street view shows it backs to a business and prking lot.
Hard pass

The side yard is the parking lot/bank.

This is basically where this house is. Some people around there had 8 FEET of water in their basements.

Ha- I would buy a house in that location because to have easy walkability to a school, library, shops, a park, etc. and even the metro. I understand there is school construction now, but that will be done soon. However, it was too expensive for the home age, size, and neighborhood, and at 1.5, the house is competing against new homes in the area at 1.7.

Yes, this house flooded very badly.

The farmer's market is literally in front on the house, so people walking in front of your house constantly.

When the beer garden is open, you get band noise.

and this house was in the middle of the flood.

Many don't want to live across from a school because the parking lots fields are packed on evenings and weekends. Add that its next to a bank, westover and the farmers market is right in front of it - not a peaceful place to live.

People walk in your yard; can't get your car out on Sun. am ...1.4M is HUGE

Oh, and there's a tiny, tiny wee little school being built across the street.
