Brand new basement and nothing else confirms bad flooding.
It's also just a very poorly built 1990s builder-grade house with zero appeal. No thanks. |
| Honestly, you couldn’t pay me to live in this house. Sorry owners. You bought just over 2 years ago and then got flooded out in 2019, and now you want out. I don’t blame you. It’s going to cost you though. This is a $1.150 house if you are lucky and can find a sucker to buy it. |

| Also, is that street a cut through street? Some of these close in neighborhoods, walking distance to schools, look great on paper, until you realize that is not a "side street", after all. Often, and at all hours, there can be cut through traffic, which you don't think will be bad, until the stop and go keeps you up at night. It is not a din, it is a stop and go noise that you notice. |
Yes. Really bad location. Massive school going up directly across from it will create lots of traffic as will Westover Library. Next door to the bank drive through. The Farmer's Market shuts down this street every Sunday morning. The house is fine (I didn't really follow the flooding) but not for $1.4M. |
It's not a cut through. It's a main access road to the library, the new school, and westover in general. Also this property was 100% flooded and basement destroyed in the 2019 flood in Westover. The owner was very vocal about the damages and trying to get assistance at the time. |

Yes. I definitely learned one lesson from that ordeal. If my house ever floods, I'll be completely silent about it and remove the soggy carpet in the dead of the night. Everyone who was on Nextdoor within five neighborhoods of this house knows how vocal the owner was about the flooding. |

Yep, it’s her. I just pulled the property records. I adore Westover and we live in the neighborhood. I would never buy that house even without the flooding issues. The location is baaadddddd. |

| That owner has complained loudly on Nextdoor about how much foot traffic she gets in front of her house, and about how badly her basement flooded in the summer of 2019. Based on that advertising, I'd say it's a no go. |

It flooded horribly, the owner took Go Fund Me Money from lots of people and then she gets in fights on NextDoor because people with young kids have the audacity to stand in front of her house and watch the construction.
The next door “neighbor” is a bank. You can probably hear the music from the Beer Garden. It’s definitely IN Westover though - like basically in the parking lot of the stop plaza. |
