Anthony Brennan III, 61, of Kensington, received three years probation, the first of which will be supervised. He was ordered to complete anger management classes and an alcohol and substance abuse evaluation, and to have no contact with the three victims. If he violates his probation, he faces up to three years in prison.

| Were it not for the pandemic, he should have had jail time. |
Were it not for the pandemic, he likely would never even been identified and arrested. I'm amazed he even got the slap on the wrist. |
| Seems light |
| He should have served time. We all know why he didn’t. But it’s good that he’s forever id’d publicly as the racist bigot he is. |
|
First offense, no permanent physical injuries to the victims.
This is pretty much par for the course for a person who can afford a lawyer. |

Found the racist! |
It's racist to point out racial disparities in sentencing if criminals? Sure, Jan. |
He is an adult male. The victims were children. He should get more than probation. |
"This is good and normal because what I really care about is that the grubby brown poors keep their filthy hands off my children. Maybe they should just be executed to teach them a lesson. On the other hand, if a wealthy white man bestows his grabbings on my children, well, we wouldn't want to mess up his bright future." Do you see how f@&$ed up that is?? |
Not true. Most black people with similar first offenses don't get jail time in Montgomery County. That doesn't mean the sentencing is proportionate. But people seem to assume that racial disproportionality means all black people go to jail all the time. And that's simply not true. |

This is the guy that attacked those kids on the Bethesda trail.
|
| I thought the victims were young but legally adults? Like college kids? I know the one girl looks tiny but I read she was an adult.... Not that that makes it OK. |
