I am 15 lbs away from my first goal weight and picked a bag I want:

When I started working out again, I would buy myself a Lululemon workout gear. I’ve been at it for more than 8 months now so I have all I need. The health and mental benefits are my reward now and I don’t need material goods. I also have Peloton which gives out “badges” for completing challenges. That’s motivating to me.
I bought myself a David Yurman bracelet I’d had my eye on for a while when I lost 15 pounds (know that’s not much of a loss compared to some people but I was proud of myself!)
No, but it's not a bad idea. I would buy workout clothing, if I were to buy something.
I'm getting breast implants.
I used to buy myself a new dress that made me feel really proud of all that I achieved, but because we're no longer going out places, I'm not sure what I would buy...
I get new earrings for every 5lbs I lose. Maybe when I’m back to in-person work I’ll switch to clothes but this is satisfying
I love seeing that other people are doing this. For my whole life, food has been a reward. I want to change my thinking for good!
inspired by this thread I just bought 3 new workout outfits from Old Navy in spring colors! I can’t justify lulu when I am just riding my peleton or lifting at home, felt indulgent but not nearly bank breaking.
|
I've never done this but I think I should. I need to change something.
Maybe new glasses with interchangeable lenses for biking. |
I absolutely buy myself things when I reach goals. Some goals are easy for me and achieving them is the reward itself. But for those things that aren’t, nothing better than a new bracelet, an outfit, a bag of whatever else strikes my fancy to motivate me.
I bought some new glasses after reaching my pre-baby weight and bought some new sneakers after getting down to 20+ pounds off. I’ve readjusted my goal weight now that I’m seeing my success, but I’m going to get myself something when I reach my original goal weight in 15 pounds. Just haven’t figured out what.
Curious what you got? Need new workout clothes and also don't want to spend $ on lululemon! |
Skimpy workout clothes. Might as well show off that bod I worked so hard for.
Yes!!!! I bought some fancy face creams and serums at 15 pounds and have a major jewelry piece selected for 40 pounds.
