2024 Girls Lax WCAC ISL Outlook

I didn’t think they stalled much. They scored 3x to start quarter and were up 14-8. Those possessions were not stalling. Deliberate is a better word as they were always looking to score. SR finally won some draws and started scoring with under 5 left.

It is good coaching when using current rules to your advantage, like it or not.

It is awful to watch, does nothing to prepare these girls for college.

Everyone should push for shot clock

I thought the SJC coach never subbed...

Doesn't. 5 games in 7 days in only 2 girls that don't start got time & why O'Connell was competitive with them last night.

Agree with you a shot clock is needed.

Agreed. Good coaching within the boundaries of the rule. A shot clock is needed though.

Yes they are stacked with talent and good coaches. I hope to catch one of their games this year.

I’m not sure how good a coach he is but he can sure collet talented girls but move that school closer to dc where he cant collect all the Baltimore girls and he has a totally different team playing for him.

I hope for your sake that this is a kid posting this because the grammar and spelling is… not good. He definitely coaches better than you can type.

Typical when you can’t argue the facts just deflect.

This is the same guy/gal who was talking up his fake Ivy League daughter a few weeks ago. Obviously has something against GC and their coach.

Also who on his team lives in Baltimore?

None. They have some Howard County girls but that is it. Unlike most of the rest of the WCAC/ISL, GC has to compete with IAAM schools for some players.

Details?

SJC v o’Connell way too close at half. Coach adjusted. That is something she doesn’t do well. And O’Connell is not good. Subbing because they seem to have some key injuries. But, still not enough. Because of minimal development, they don’t have anyone to sub. One girl plays every position on the field. GC and BI will wear them out because their goal will be to beat her down.
