I was in late junior high/early high school in the late 80s/early 90s. One thing I really remember is cheap perfume that you could buy at drug stores--specifically I like "Electric Youth" (Debbie Gibson) "Night Rythem" (I don't know if it was made by Gloria Estefan, but they used her song in the commercials) and "Exclamation."
Speaking of commercials--they don't have them for cheap perfume/cologne anymore--even at Christmas! I remember the Stetson "easy for you" commercials being kind of a staple of the holiday season. Anyway--are these cheap perfumes popular with tween/early teen girls anymore? |

Not those particular ones but yes. Ariana Grande and Britney have perfumes.
I looked up Xlamation lately and apparently you can still buy it! |
| The drug store perfume display was always my go to for those Dec 24 desperation gift needs. |
| My first perfume, which I loved, was whatever popular “musk” perfume used to be sold at drug stores. I wish I could remember! |
| What about body sprays from Victoria secrets and bath and body works? Those were popular in the early 2000s. |
| Heaven from the gap! |
| Sand & Sable! |
| Ha! I loved my perfume Lauren, on my Christmas list around 1980. |
| Two words: Jean Nate. |
| Jovan white musk, still wonderful! Also loves baby soft for the younger crowd was popular. I saw Exclamation at TJMaxx this month! |
| I loved Curve! By Liz Claiborne, I think? I also had fantasy by Britney Spears and Vera wang princess, but those weren’t as cheap. |
Lovespell is still one of my favorite smells ever |
Love's Baby Soft Musk was a popular first perfume. |
| Ax Body Spray for MS boys. I have to hold my breath when walking by the kids bathroom in the morning |
| Benetton Colors, anyone? |
