| I noticed my stroller weight limit is 50 pounds. I’m wondering what to use for my child after 50 pounds? Has anyone continued using the same stroller over the weight limit? |
| 50lbs????? They walk. |
| My 5 year old might have been over 50 lbs and we used the Bob. By k he was too embarrassed though. |

My kids are 6.5, 2.5 and 3 months. The 6 year old only weighs 56 pounds now. She is tall for her age. The 2.5 year old weighs 24 pounds. She will have another 2.5 years before she gets to that limit.
Even friends who had babies who were 11 pounds at birth didn't hit 50 pounds until 3.5 or 4. At that age, they can walk. They make these wagon things you can pull them in. But by 50 pounds they are NOT a baby |
| I have a 50lb 5 year old who looks utterly ridiculous in the Uppababy we have. She is way too tall and while she fits width wise easily in the seat, she is too long for it to be comfortable. However, she recently rode in a BOB at Disney and she fit fine. |
| My 35lb 4yo walks everywhere now. We haven't used a stroller for her in a year. |
| Did anyone come to this thread thinking OP had a 50 lb baby? I just had a good laugh!!!! |
| Baby Jogger Summit is good up to 70 pounds. Good for Disney. |
| My 6 year old is 90th percentile for height and weighs 48 pounds. I can’t even remember the last time she sat in a stroller. |
| My kid with a physical disability fit in the Bob at 40 lbs and super skinny so probably the height of a 5 year old, although he was 8. We switched to a specialized stroller because we got one for free, but otherwise we could have kept using it. |
| No, they walk, or perhaps bike, or use a scooter. |
| Wheelbarrow |
I did! OP, my 4yo is 34lbs. She hasn’t used a stroller for over a year, except when we were at Disney. |
...to preschool and kindegarten! |
Yes! Lol! |
