Well your 11yo is tiny. Nothing wrong with that, but im not sure what your point is. |
No one is walking five miles “quickly.” |
You live 5 miles from the nearest subway station or bus stop and don't have a car? Or are you too lazy to train your 4.5 year old to not run into traffic? |
My 4 year old knows to walk with purpose when we're in a hurry. We love taking leisurely exploration walks, but we're long past the toddler days of needing to inspect every object on the sidewalk when we need to be someplace. We have a .75 mile walk to preschool every day that takes us exactly 15 minutes when we need it to. |
You mean educate? I train my dog, not my child. No dummy, I jog with my kid in the stroller. Some of us exercise outdoors and take the kids along. |
| Wtf my 7 year old is barely 50 pounds |
Np and that's a totally good reason to keep a stroller, but a very particular reason and doesn't mean that all 4+ year olds will have a reason to use the stroller. This one is more about you than your kid. |
Yeah I mean my tiny almost 10 yr old is 60 lbs. |
When are you walking 5 miles quickly? I walk just about everywhere but 5 miles isn't a quick walk. I've walked the whole Capital Crescent Trail and that's 8 miles, but you don't walk from Georgetown to Bethesda unless you're doing that on purpose. I've done a long hike with my toddler but I put him in the hiking backpack after a couple miles. |
| My kid crossed 50lb at 6 years of age, so we don’t need a stroller any more. |
| Get your kid a scooter |
+2 |
| Veer wagon will go to 55lbs. |
