Do your kids brush 2 minutes 2 times per day?

Twice a day and maybe 30 seconds. Heck, I don’t brush for two minutes!

Yes, twice a day, 2 minutes each.

Twice a day and I try to get them to brush for two minutes but it’s hard.

2x per day if they don’t fall asleep before they can at night.

30 sec

Yep, twice a day, 2 minutes each. Kid is 2.5 and brushes their own teeth, I just supervise.

3 year old brushes 2x a day. Morning is probably 45 seconds evening is 2 minutes. We use the Oral B Magic Timer app.

Woof mom of the year award over here! Once a day for my two year old and def not two minutes! Holy heck I’m impressed. I mean, we obviously are working on getting the twice a day more consistent because that’s basic and should be happening but I’m truly amazed you all are doing toddler teeth for two full minutes. I guess like others said it’s because my own practice around that is not great..

Am I the only one that still brushes my 3 and 5 year olds teeth for them? Most of the time full 2 minutes. We use oral b electric brushes from Costco. I had so many cavities as a kid bc my parents didn’t care.

Same here. My 4yo is pretty good, my 20m not so much. We get maybe 15 seconds of toothbrush chewing out of him. Once per day.

Three year old always brushes for 2 minutes every night, plus lets us follow up with "teeth inspection" since she's terrible at brushing her teeth.

I think we get it done in the morning about twice a week. I'm not happy with it, but she's home with us and our PT nanny instead of going to school every day, and the loss of that daily get-out-the-door schedule has really made it hard. Morning routine gets covered by three different adults and is entirely dependent on who has an early meeting or who is sleeping in because we were up late working, as well as when the nanny arrives which happens anytime in a 1 hour window (she takes public transportation, we are fine with it). We try, but it's brutal and our priorities tend to be a healthy breakfast and getting the stuff she needs for the day ready.

I cannot wait until she is back in school and we can get back into a normal rhythm.

Yeah, no. About 30 seconds twice per day, then flossing a few times per week.

2x, sometimes 3. Mine is 5 and still prefers to brush herself but have us do the “real” brush. Like another PP, my parents weren’t good about helping me with my teeth and it really matters to me.
