Cascade Helmet Repair

Anonymous
I'm hoping someone can help me out.

My son has a Cascade S from his club lacrosse team. The bracket that connects the face mask to the visor got busted and fell off. (It was a trash high hit.)
I contacted Cascade and they said they can't help me--won't send me the part even (how much can a little bracket cost?
They said I could go to a helmet reconditioned, the nearest one is in Egg Harbor NJ. Ridiculous.

Does anyone here know someplace that fixes Cascade S's? Or where I can just get the part?

Thanks.

Best by a new one and not replace. Can’t screw around kids safety.

I believe elsewhere it was suggested that the helmet might be too old to be fixed under warranty (not sure if that's true). I think the helmet is the only equipment that I wouldn't mess with, even if I thought it was a $5 piece to be fixed.

Could you buy a cheap used helmet to reuse a piece? If it can't be readily fixed/replaced that makes me think it is too important to the safe function of the helmet.

Maybe get a used one and swap out parts.
