Thanks.[/quote] I believe elsewhere it was suggested that the helmet might be too old to be fixed under warranty (not sure if that's true). I think the helmet is the only equipment that I wouldn't mess with, even if I thought it was a $5 piece to be fixed. Could you buy a cheap used helmet to reuse a piece? If it can't be readily fixed/replaced that makes me think it is too important to the safe function of the helmet.[/quote]
