So hateful, and yet, they will never succeed. Because what they see as "the Left" is really just, anyone who cares about science or truth or compassion. Even if you crush it out of those of us who are now alive, these wonderful values can never be eliminated from all the new souls born.

Lies. Only Kirk's wife forgave. Trump, Miller, Posobiec, Johnson and others who spoke spewed hatred, vitriol, and calls to arms.

And her first speech was the opposite of forgiveness.

Yup. Here are her words.

Addressing "evil-doers", Mrs Kirk, 36, had earlier told the livestream: "You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife, the cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.

"They should all know this: if you thought that my husband's mission was powerful before you have no idea, you have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country and this world."

You don’t understand forgiveness if this is what you think. Forgiveness does NOT mean that one is not held accountable for the crime they commit or that you forget the crime. It means that she is putting ultimate judgment in the hands of God and earthly justice in the hands of our legal system.

The day before he was horrifically murdered, Charlie Kirk sent me a direct message on X.

Unfortunately, before I could even respond, Charlie Kirk was killed — seemingly assassinated for the words he'd spoken.

I've taken issue with many of those words — sometimes strongly — but never his right to speak them. Never his right to express those views and then go home to his family. That is a sacred American value.

Kirk’s murder gives us all reason to come back to the table for dialogue. There is a rising tide of political violence that has already swept away his life and many others’ lives, from both the Left and the Right.

Violence like this should compel people in both parties to turn down the heat, seek common ground and look for off-ramps from the vitriol — as Kirk was doing with me, the day before he died.

We can choose to go the way of more violence, more outrage and more censorship — if we want to.

But if we choose censorship and civil war, we cannot blame that choice on Charlie Kirk!

From his last 24 hours, I have the proof that he wanted to go a very different way.

I actually do think most people want a way out of this cycle of violence and harmful rhetoric and government censorship. If only our nation had a leader who could unite us and guide us calmly right now.

Instead we have a psychopath who uses a memorial to talk about hating his enemies. And a sizeable portion of the country still supports him. Even as he spews hate. So I don’t really buy any of their crocodile tears over the situation.

^^^ this right here. Listen to Van Jones.

Nope. He said there is as much violence on the left as the right. That’s blatantly false. Factually false. Dems have been advocating for gun control, and a gun killed Charlie. Did Biden say all MAGA were enemies who needed to be squashed? Thats what Trump said about Dems yesterday, while tensions are sky high. Stop equivocating.

Why would they announce a private service and risk having a bunch of crazy leftists come out to protest it?

Why would they risk an ostentatious event like yesterday after Charlie was supposedly viciously assassinated. It’s nonsensical.

And you forget the epic raft of sh!t that Democrats got for that. Time to take yours.

DP, I still in HS in 2002 and I’m now a 40 year old mom of 3. Why are you going back over 2 decades to try to make some point about what is going on today? I had to Google who this guy was.

My point is Van knows, we know. It’s looking us in the face. It’s so obvious that our intuition is telling us no, no one would do that, we shouldn’t think such things.

They were able to secure it. A private service/burial is not as easy to secure.

It was a fabulous service. A wonderful tribute to Charlie Kirk. And his mission will only get bigger and stronger. That was obvious from the service. Erika will do a great job at continuing his work.

Pretty much this. They're calling anything left of their RW authoritarianism "the Left". They can continue going around breaking this and breaking that, but it's not a strategy that has long-term legs.
