| Where is there a strong 2028 Girls program? Seems like most are combo 28/29 teams. Do girls’ teams typically get more established in middle school and high school? |
| Stars, Pride, and Metro all have 28 only teams. Stars and pride have two 28 teams. |
| What county are you looking for? Howard/Baltimore have plenty. Montgomery County has Bethesda with two teams and Rebels as well. Virginia teams have been listed above. You definitely don’t need to wait till middle or high school. |
Agreed best three options in the area are those three clubs. |
| Cardinals any good? |
Cardinal doesn't have a 28 team. Either 27 or 26 is their youngest. Plenty of the big MD programs all have 28 teams. The 3 VA clubs listed above are the best 3 in the VA area. |
| What are the best girls club programs in Maryland? |
Hero’s, M&D, and Skywalkers generally. |
Skywalkers tends not to be as good at the elementary level. Lots of girls come over in middle school. MD United and Pride tend to be quite good (a step behind Heros and M&D) at this level |
| Next level has 28 and my understanding is they are pretty solid |
| If you are ok with the commute, M&D, Hero's, and Skywalkers for sure. Currently M&D only has one 28 team so they should have a lot of spots open for next year - assuming they'll add a second team. |
| How you y’all rank FCA girls? |
| At this age , FCA is pretty much Rec league and not good Rex league. |
| MD big thing is continuity. And while some years are better than other, year in and year out, you'd have to say its M&D and SkyWalkers. Heroes, TLC, Rebels, all have good years, but program consistency has to be with M&D and Skywalkers. |
Um, no. Hero’s and M&D for sure are the most consistent year to year. I don’t think that’s even a debate. |
