Not yet sure how many clubs are participating but apparently upwards of 150 teams are slated to play from information shared by ASA

DC Hyper lost a lot of kids these last few months + one of the coaches moved back to Brazil (I think). The web-site still exists, but I wonder if they are really a going concern.

They are not entered in the Alexandria tournament.

Hmm. I looked at U12, since that is my son's year, and a bunch of the teams are Alexandria teams. We did not have my son try out this year, since we make too much for financial aid, but not as much as usual, and so futsal ID was not in the cards for us either way.

Quite a lot of variation between age groups I think. U15 has 19 teams from 11 different "clubs" for example.

I heard one age group had a COVID-related case. Not sure which one.

How closely was the case related to covid?

Yes. They shut down that whole age group / division so I was told. I know it's boy's side (my friend only has a boy) but not sure how old he is so not sure what age.

Just got an update.

The Boys U13 'Platinum' group cancelled all games today. There were six teams in two groups. There was a player on one team that played two other teams yesterday in one group, but today those three affected teams would play teams from the other group so they cancelled all matches.

My DD’s team played for the first time and I thought it was well run, they had a great experience!

My Daughters team played and i thought Alexandria did an excellent job putting together a tournament in a very uncertain time. It was 100% outdoors which for futsal had me thinking how is this going to work. In the end they provided suitable outdoor venues and were quick to make changes due to weather changes. My kid was pleased she got to play so good marks all around from us.
