Where is the official statement from ECNL or any organization that says they want SY? Not a post on a message board, an actual press release that states their stance. Not an opinion stated in a podcast. An actual official statement.

Have you listened to the podcasts from the CEO of the ECNL? I’m guessing that’s a no.

Hahaha, this is your statement? This only says they support the efforts to review the impact on the change to BY since 2017. It doesn't say they support changing to SY. OMG!

I wish I was naive enough to believe a change to SY won’t be coming in Fall 2026. Even when they make the formal statement (at the end of February or early March), some people will still believe the change to SY is not happening at ECNL. Truly astonishing.

They may not. We have no idea as they have said nothing. A podcast is not something that can be relied on. At all.

What are you basing that on? Are you on the ECNL board? League commissioner? DOC at an ECNL club that has received some sort of official communication?

I know a podcast isn't much, but it is the league president saying what he thinks. I agree nothing may change, and I agree their statements so far have been weak, but the statements have all been the same. In fact the one thing we haven't seen is a statement from literally any person, or any league, saying they are staying BY. Literally no one has at any point ever said that.

I’m a Q1 parent holding out hope that my kid gets to continue playing against younger kids so I can live through them….that’s what I’m basing it on.
