Whole Foods Prime Now TOTALLY out of food

Anyone experiencing this? My WF is Tenleytown for delivery, but they literally have NO milk, yogurt, frozen fruit, eggs, or bread. What is going on? Freezer section broken? This has been since last night. I thought it was a computer glitch but apparently not. I need groceries.

I haven’t personally experienced this. It is, however, something that happens at all groceries with online ordering whenever Covid infections spike. Time to start expecting this and ordering further in advance or shopping in person but less frequently.

Dang. Haven’t experienced this since March. But even then it was really only flour and dry beans they didn’t have. Guess I have to buy what I can. Things aren’t that bad in DC are they? I Know they are compared to the summer, but I still don’t know anyone who has gotten sick and it’s not like the Midwest.

This is a novel suggestion, but you are aware that you can actually...go out and buy your own groceries. Put a mask on, and go get your own food.

People are aware they can go into stores, but some of us aren't so lucky and are in high risk categories, so online shopping (as recommended by the CDC) is our safest option.

But not Whole Foods, as IME the stores that are cleared out of delivery tend to be poorly stocked in store too.

I believe humans can eat things other than eggs milk and bread.

Do not panic OP. They likely are just waiting for a delivery and cannot promise those things yet. Or they want to make sure they are stocked for the weekend for the people coming in. Can you try another store? Lots of stores have a delivery service. Target has groceries and has a pick up service.. If you need organic, the McClean butcher shop delivers and has contactless pick up and has some grocery items. You can sit in your car and open the trunk from the inside and they will put it in for you. They do wear masks.

You do not need to go into a store but you may need to be flexible on where you buy things and the brands you buy.

Were you people (to the snotty responders) always like this or has the isolation started getting to you?
