+1 Lots of hateful people eating this stuff up for the reasons you mentioned. Change the race and class and there wouldn't be much interest. |
Wrong thread! Ignore |
I think with all the serious topics and issues right now, this was a collective relief. Two people who brought a situation on themselves and who were caught with a humorous reaction (the way they bobbed and weaved). It is definitely getting more attention than most exposed affairs but people just need something that isn’t war or politics to focus on. I do feel for their spouses and kids who didn’t ask for all this attention and who are dealing with their own pain. |
White mom here. I like to play a game called "Let's look at the C-Suite page!" and it is ALWAYS ALWAYS except maybe 3% of the time, an assemblage of White males, a token female, and a token South or East Asian dude (because: good with math) |
Careful what you wish for. You can easily end up on the receiving end of public shaming. |
I’m wondering about her, too. I know both Astronemer and Alyssa Stoddard herself have said Alyssa was not at the concert but their announcements rang hollow to me. I can’t believe the real Alyssa wouldn’t be more outraged that she’s been dragged through the viral Internet mud on such a massive global scale. I wish she would make a live appearance so we could really see that she’s not the smiling red-faced woman who clearly knows A LOT. But I guess lawyers and PR people would advise against that. (I personally think it is Alyssa at the concert — I see too many similarities with that LinkedIn photo which is probably old. I’m not on LinkedIn but I know my husband’s profile pic is about 10 yrs old.) |
+1 You are so right!! |
Her smile, eyes, and eyebrows all look different in the side by side ive seen. im gonna need more. |
You are ridiculous. This is not anti-white racism. This is mocking stupid people. |
Sure there are consequences: private ones not for your enjoyment. Divorce, etc.
Uh, no. Nothing has blown its lid. |
Wrong. Not easily. |
Stupid, arrogant liars who got caught. |
The key word here is "private." These two cheaters thought they could do what they wanted in a public arena with cameras and 60,000 or so spectators with cellphones. If they wanted privacy, they made a very poor choice; and the world is mocking them. |
Bogus premise. Your odds of being on some sort of kiss cam jumbotron in a stadium full of 60k people is really slim. |
I'm sure they thought like you! Oops!! |
