Potomac is very solid this year. Navy bound offensive player is very good, fogo is really good and they have a few juniors who should play in college. Not sure losing to them should be held against Langley, especially given that it was their second scrimmage of the day and their best offensive player got hurt in the scrimmage. Langley still has all the pieces to make a run this spring. Faceoffs and Goalie play can win a lot of games. |
| I heard from a source that I was an acl tear. If that’s true, that devastating for Langley and I feel so bad for that player |
You do know that they are in different reasons, and are not scheduled to play this year? |
| Regions |
Indy’s region is the best in the state. Significant jump from last year. |
| Didn’t Potomac beat Indy 10-6 this fall… or does that not count because it was a fall scrimmage. Just trying to gauge what counts and what doesn’t. |
Can anyone confirm this |
Confirmed. Langley all of a sudden drops from #1 to #5. |
| Hope he heals quick. Poor kid. |
| Hate to hear it - Honestly. Praying for a quick recovery. |
|
confirmed, Langley Senior attackmen Jack Milone, who's committed to play D1 lacrosse at Mercer - out for the year with a torn ACL in the game against Potomac.
Really devastating for Milone and the whole Langley team. This might put them on the outside looking in to get into states out of Region D behind Madison and Yorktown. |
| what source are you hearing this from |
potomac assistant coach and langley player |
| Langley is still completely in the race for the state title, they have the best fogo and goalie in the state by a long shot, and still have some offensive weapons. |
He posted it on his socials. Terrible for this kid. Are there any othe injuries to team's top players to enter the season? |
