Langley’s only loss to a VA team was to #1 Robinson. Broadneck and South River would beat every team in VA. Langley is not a great team but I don’t think they are hiding anything by not updating their website.

A lot of talk about a .500 team who hasn’t beaten anyone of note.

Waiting for Monday and some new rankings i.e. “the big shake up” ? Biggest movers Madison dropping, FSR rising, Oakton disappearing from the top 10.
Bad losses, only winning the easy games and .500 records should only get you so far.Madison and Langley should be happy to be at 9 and 10.

6A Ranks
1. Robo- State champs. Absolutely no way they screw it up this year .
2. Madison- I don’t care about the robo loss much, believe they were missing their two best players.
3. Yorktown- Still very very good.
4. Langley- Games vs MD schools don’t count. Sorry Mclean moms, still think they’re better.
5. Battlefield-Would be nice if they felt like playing a lacrosse game every now and then.
6. Freedom SR- Impressive win, probably should have them higher, but I just won’t know for sure until they play Battlefield and Oakton.
7. Mclean- Good enough to beat anyone, but gonna need more than Ws over Woodson and Chantilly to move them up.
8. Hayfield?- I mean they’ve got a couple decent wins. They’ll go undefeated playing the school for the blind 7 times in a row to close the year.
9. Oakton- Bad loss, still in my top 10.
10. West Po- They scored 13 on madison and they beat South County so why not.

HMs: Patriot, South County, Woodson, Westfield, Chantilly, all of the southern teams that exist only to be sacrificed to Robinson in the state playoffs.

Obviously these rankings are 100% fact and if you disagree you know nothing about lacrosse.

Ahh looks like the boys in Great Falls were up to no good late last night. Thinking that Blaze, Gunner, Landon and Jaxxxon should get more sleep. they may dream up a defensive scheme that works.

Pop quiz boys:
When is a loss a loss? When it shows up in the W/L column! I don’t see a the “opponent’s in MD column”. I don’t see a “well, it’s a moral victory” column. I just see a loss column.
When a team is .500, what are they? They are an average team that needs to work on a few things to get better. There must be some flaws *cough defense* and in need of some work to become a more complete team.
Bonus points: Do you get better by making excuses for losses, staying up all night trying to justify how good you want every to think you are and denigrating other programs? No, you get better through practice, learning from mistakes and losses and applying the lessons learned.
I know it’s hard. I feel for you, I really do. Maybe mommy will let you drive her BMW to school tomorrow so you feel just a little bit better. Hey, and when the season ends we can put the 6th place trophy right next to your participation ribbon.

If you rank teams why ignore records and scores? Freedom best Riverside and are 5-0. Why rank them below Madison? They have a common opponent. Should be more logical if you post a ranking.
