| Just for fun. My 5 year old was a very picky toddler and is coming out of it finally. She had turkey, green beans, rolls, and cranberry sauce. Wouldn’t try stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or gravy. What did your kid(s) eat? |

My 12 year old ate turkey and pumpkin cake.
My 14 year old ate squash pancake, cranberry, pumpkin cake and apple pie. My 9 year old ate turkey, squash pancake, and cranberry. No kids ate the stuffing. I didn’t make green beans or Brussels sprouts this year as I know they won’t eat them. |
| Turkey, mash potatoes, gravy, green beans, squash, stuffing, cranberry sauce... what did they not eat. We ordered from a local restaurant. Thank goodness for not having to cook today. |

15 & 7, both ate turkey and a roll. One with gravy, the other sampled stuffing, Parmesan roasted broccoli.
Both promptly asked when it was time for dessert and if they could have both pie and cupcake with ice cream. Their loss. It was all delicious this year (says me because I cooked it all the way I like). |
| My 7 year old took one bite of our field roast. She did eat a whole biscuit, a cinnamon roll, loved green bean casserole, ate several deviled eggs, potato salad, orange salad, cranberry sauce and likes the stuffing too. Oh and sweet potatoes with marshmallow and apple pie later. So really the only thing she didn’t like was the field roast. |
| My almost 3 year old ate a roll and some pumpkin pie. Hes been so touch and go with food lately. He only wants soft foods lately. I think his last molars are coming in. I thought for sure he would want mashed potatoes since he eats potatoes in every other form. |

I'm always surprised by what my kids will and won't eat. Things I wouldn't think they'd go for they sometimes gobble up. Other things (who doesn't like mashed potatoes!!) they reject.
4 year old ate green beans, turkey, and slice of the pumpkin pie he helped make. And would eat his weight in rolls if we let him. Won't touch mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn casserole or cranberry sauce or gravy. 2 year old eats everything you put in front of her, if she sees us eating it |
| My 4 year old ate absolutely nothing. My 10 year old ate only the veggies. |
| DDS (7 and 5) took at least a few bites of: turkey, mashed potatoes, mashed rutabegas, stuffing, green beans, and cranberry sauce. They especially liked the turkey and the mashed potatoes. And pumpkin pie, later on! |
| 4 year old ate cornbread with honey butter, Turkey breast, sweet potato pie with whip cream, mashed potatoes and gravy |
|
We had an enormous spread, so many delicious choices. The youngest kid ate frozen peas, which were still frozen, a roll and about 3 bowls of vanilla ice cream. Apparently she likes her Thanksgiving food cold.
There seemed to be a pretty clear progression as the kids got older. Oldest kid, a young teenage boy in his growth spurt, ate several helpings of everything. The in between kids were in between. |
| 4.5 year old ate cornbread and Turkey meatballs ( I did meatballs due to no family + covid). Wouldn’t touch the Mac and cheese and I made a peanut butter and jelly to tie him over. My spread was meatballs chicken wings sweet potato soufflé, cornbread dressing and collard greens. He was having none of it. I’ll be eating this all week. |
