Does any one know the annual cost to join Maryland Rush Montgomery’s (MRM) travel team that plays in EDP?

The cost for Rush varies by team.

I think the club cost is around $250, the total cost varies by team but less than most clubs (especially since tournaments are not regularly happening).

They are having a sale because the club is imploding and they have to compete with MSI Classic for talent.

MRM is structured differently. There is a low club cost that all teams pay. Then each team has a different cost depending on coaches, fields, leagues and tournaments. It was more of an a la cart type payment plan. Every team under MRM will come with a different price tag. My son used to play for a MRM team and it really was very good value. I often wish he was on a MRM team now based on price since we would be paying very little with the lack of tournaments and potentially the lack of a winter league.,

I hope you realize MRM has Rec, Select (Classic) and Travel, but MRM’s travel program is bigger and better than that of MSI. MSI is better than MRM for Rec and Classic.

The top travel teams- 2200-2900 depending on age and league. plus travel.

I am PP that posted club cost is about $250 - that's the fee paid directly to the club. The total fee for our team varies between $1600-1900 per year (not per season). Our coach works to keep fees low. There are 2-3 practices a week, 2 tournaments per season, and the team plays in EDP.

I never understood the difference between "select/classic" and travel. Haven't seen that any of the VA clubs. Is that just higher level rec? Please explain. TIA.

You forgot to mention cost. Travel can be 10 times the cost of select/classic, and doesn't necessarily mean better coaches or competition

Our mrm team plays several tournaments a tear plus edp games and some edp tournament that is single elimination that is throughout the year. Varies by age and team.

We pay around 2500 plus our travel expenses to nc, fl, va, pa, nj, az, las Vegas, not always inthe same year.

We like the model, part of a club with a national name.
