| The doc giving the test explained why travel is a horrible idea, which was worth 1000 arguments. |
| Pro-tip, just say no to the gathering. |
| I know quite a few people who would gladly get tested every day if it meant life could return to normal. Some of these same people have also worked with Covid patients since the start and have seen the awful sides of it. |
| Pro-tip There are long lines for testing and delays at the labs as reported by most major news media outlets. Stay home and don't allow guests. |
| Pro tip? Worst tip ever. Literally means nothing to get tested first. You can get it at the gas station day before, or on the day and kill all your loved ones. |
| Pro tip - stop with all these public service announcements about what we should or shouldn't be doing. It's still a (barely) free country. |
| Does everybody get to talk to a doctor when they test? |
It’s not spreading at gas stations. You don’t become a virus shedder in 12 hours after exposure. But you can test negative and then become a virus shedder the next day. |
So why is travel a terrible idea? Does that include local travel of a couple hours drive? Just wondering what I can tell someone else who might travel. |
|
People go to testing stations, not their doctor, OP. And plenty of doctors are traveling or hosting for the holidays!!! So, just say no by your little own self. |
Yep. It's a free country -- people are free to express their opinions. You don't have a right not to hear opposing views or criticism. |
THANK YOU. |
YES, you get to have an opinion, but that doesn't absolve you from fact and the consequences of your actions |
Thank goodness someone else on this board has common sense. |
This!! Testing isn’t 100%. See the rise harder superspreader event. |
