COVID coverup at Pipeline

Multiple coaches and players. Multiple age groups. There still holding indoor practices. Some teams have been quarantined after parents spoke up. OThers were allowed to continue practicing and playing in tournaments. SR and SQ won't take any calls about it. I know no one cares about Baltimore teams on this forum, but blowing the whistle because their putting their players and family's and yours at risk!!!

why blow the whistle to a Baltimore forum- or better yet a Baltimore paper or tv station?

I'm not even a pipeline family, but I'm almost positive, nobody is holding indoor practices. During these hard times, why can't we all just come together as a soccer community and support each other.

No clue about whether there are positive coaches and players that are not quarantining (that may indeed be a bitter rival rumor), but they are holding regular team practices and small group training sessions at their new indoor facility. Check their social media. They're not quiet about it. Supporting your soccer community also means not taking unnecessary risks.

I have no idea about the specifics of what is going on with Pipeline.

If one player on a team tests positive their teammates and coaches would have to quarantine for 14 days unless they could somehow conclude that the test result was a false positive.

That does not mean that there are multiple positive test. Nor does it mean that the other teams from the same club need to stop practicing or playing in games.

Also realize that clubs can not freely share information about positive tests. They can advise people who should quarantine and who does not need to.

Because there are a lot of teams in the DC area that play this club. The forum is titled DC and everyone here constantly discusses Virginia clubs. So maybe only discuss clubs in DC, which is Stoddert. If it doesn't interest you, then don't read.

Because there are a lot of teams in the DC area that play this club. The forum is titled DC and everyone here constantly discusses Virginia clubs. So maybe only discuss clubs in DC, which is Stoddert. If it doesn't interest you, then don't read.

My DS's team is playing them next weekend

My son plays for Pipeline and this is not true. Club Teams are still practicing outdoors. I also have not heard of any cases in Pipeline teams and news like that travels fast.

Pipeline recently opened a performance center. It is used for little kid academy and private coaching sessions. Like other gyms, it has to operate at reduced capacity and I’ve not heard that they aren’t doing so.

This is one poster here that has started numerous untrue rumors about Pipeline. This seems to be in a similar vein.

This doesn't bother me at all. Good for Pipeline. Finally a club with some sense.

False. Multiple teams have had practice sessions this past week in that facility. Either way, what’s the difference? Choosing to put little kid academy kids at risk or your club teams?
