In need of new sheets. Has anyone had any experiences, good or bad, with the following brands:

What do you like your sheets to feel like?
I did a ton of research, and I realized I personally like hotel-feeling sheets, which are actually not that soft. They are very smooth, tend to be cool, and pure cotton. We have some old sheets on our guest bed (used to be mine when single) that are my FAVORITE - pure cotton sold at Target about 15 years ago. Percale seemed to be the best fit. We also have a split king, and need two regular pillow cases and two king pillow cases. I also prefer patterned sheets, or at least slightly fun sheets with a nice piece of trim or a bold color or something. As I looked at all the options you named, reviews were so mixed. And it added up so fast doing a split king set. Colors would be available in one piece but not another. I ended up picking up two sets of these Opalhouse Percale from Target, of all places. They are DEFINITELY not overly soft, very plain cotton, but they are breaking in really nicely after a couple washes. I picked up a second set and they are now my favorite sheets, after the guest bed. I think you have to figure out what feel/features are important to you and go from there. | I love my Boll and Branch sheets. They get softer/better with each wash, so I've grown to love them even more the longer I've had them. |

Are they hot though? I can’t sleep when I’m too hot and DH is like a furnace. I swear idk how it’s possible to emit so much heat (I know this sounds like a metaphor, it’s not). |

NP- have also extensively researched because we ALSO need the extra deep king pocket - like 24". I liked Malouf but going to try Kirkland.
I'm also intrigued by these because I once had bamboo sheets from crate & barrel that I LOVED: https://www.softsurroundings.com/p/blissful-bamboo-sheet-set/ but these do not have a deep pocket. |

I bought cheep jersey sheets on Amazon and they are amazing. My bed is so cozy. I bought them for every bed in the house.
