My daughter is 13 and she recently asked for ripped jeans. I showed her the usual suspects like Gap but she showed me pacsun style super ripped jeans. I told her no thigh rips but I'll do knee rips.
Besides the usual suspects like pacsun, american eagle, aeropostle, any recs? Also, looks like I'm now entering the non-Gap kids type of shopping. Sizing was always pretty consistent/easy at those types of places. But at pacsun, for example, there is no "kids" section. Do young teens shop at these places despite the men/women sizing options? Looking for a little guidance. |
| Hollister works well for my very petite teen....they have xxs and short options for their jeans.... |
| Why not American eagle? They have so many options. Gap isn’t popular for teens. |
| And yes! 13 year olds shop at Pac Sun. |
| Brandy Melville. And yes, if you fit into a store, you can shop at that store. I don't let DD get much at PacSun simply because it's expensive. |
| Thanks, all! |
| Are ripped jeans back in again? Wow, styles recycle faster than ever. |
They have been for a while! |
| Gap?? No. AE pacsun or brandy. And let her have thigh rips. They aren’t too high. |
| Yep, our then 13 year old loves to shop at Pac Sun.. some of the clothes are just yuk to me .. but he has some pieces from there .. Wheaton mall has a pac sun. Also try H&M .. |
| My 13 year old loves Romwe and has cute ripped jeans from there |
| What’s wrong with thigh rips if they’re at the top? I don’t think they’re titillating if you’re just seeing a strip of quad. |
|
Yuck, pacsun is gross.

What’s wrong with Gap? |
| Take some old jeans and rip them. |
