Right? People posting on twitter do not have NYT subscriptions and therefore haven't even read the article. Hell, Usha probably didn't even read the article. Her advisor said "there's an article about you and the other pregnant Trumpers wearing tight maternity dresses" and Ushy went nuts.

No, it's not AI. It's a real tweet from her account. In fact one of the top replies is "Coral is a great color; NYT elites don't understand midwest fashion." Like a) Usha isn't a coastal elite herself and b) no one in the history of the Acela corridor has ever worn coral.

She's a smug, odious woman who cannot help herself. Someone writes a nice article about her and her immediate instinct is to play the victim.

Someone posted a gift link above but it basically said that the Trump women show off their bellies more while pregnant as part of pro-natalist policies. If anything, they talked about Katie Miller more, because she keeps tweeting her pregnancy boudoir photos. They showed pics of Usha looking lovely. Idk why she's in such a snit.

I wonder if Usha didn’t like the article because she thinks she is better than Katie and karoline. She doesn’t see herself as your typical MAGA girlie. She won’t wear a MAGA hat (I don’t own hats when asked…) and she’s always trying to find some way around the awful things her husband is doing (while Katie and karoline celebrate evil). I think this “fashion” article hit a nerve because it makes it clear she’s grouped with these other horrible, trashy, facist women and she thinks she’s somehow above that.

So passive-aggressive and unnecessary about your spouse, from whom you benefit immensely. Almost as bad as him saying he hoped she would be "moved" by the Holy Spirt (which as a cradle Catholic is incredibly uncatholic terminology)

This seems like a public airing of a private difference, like this is an issue in their relationship and a red flag that all is not well in their marriage. Also, I think JD chooses his words carefully because he knows the evangelical Protestant Republican base has not historically considered Catholicism to be the same as their faith.
