I’m a lifetime dem but will vote republican if the schools are not open 5 days a week by then. If APS teachers get their way that’s very likely since it will take years to have 14 days no new cases

McAuliffe has already purchased the election. Our single-term rule means that Northam cannot run (and I would definitely vote for him). All else on that race is noise. McAuliffe has essentially run already. He probably wouldn’t be bad, although he is far below what I think we deserve. Ultimately, no Governor can do any true damage as long as Mark Herring remains Attorney General. Herring can keep a lid on extreme nonsense without turning everything into an embarrassing public bloodbath.

I would like to learn more about Carroll-Foy, and I know a bit about McClellan. I went to law school with McClellan and what I know about her makes me think she would do a very good job. She is not going to be a natural campaigner -- but she's the kind of person who works hard and does a good job.

Bring on the women.... women who are tough and get the job done without all the man-drama.

McAuliffe or McClellan would both be fine. Carroll-Foy will be the pick of the hard-core leftists and one just hopes Fairfax won’t be too much of an embarrassment - his time is up. Chase is a complete idiot and should get next to no support in most of NoVa.

Justin Fairfax is the new blood we need to bring Virginia forward. Frankly, all of the above posters trying to stamp out his chances of running for Governor are coming across as more than a bit racist
