Stop shoveling the streeet!

Ok dear neighbor, I get that you are bored, tired of being housebound, whatever, but for the love of God stop shoveling the street!!! Its not necessary. We can all drive over that tiny layer of slush with no problem.

If you want to be useful and shovel, why not go dig out some parking spaces instead??? I know its not "your space" but really this would actually be helpful as opposed to picking at tiny patches of slush.

Yes, I know that happens but I also know that my old, cheap front wheel drive car has been able to get over those patches with little to no problem for the past 10 years so not too seriously concerned.....

The same crazy control freak who wants to tell everyone what to do off season; is just as happy trying to tell people "how to drive" in the street in a blizzard - get this, for HER convenience! I would not be comfortable with this woman telling me how to knit, for the record.

Her husband left for the District, telling her it is for work. I would be outta there if I her him, also!

People, you can not control the street. You can not control the weather. Get a life.

I'm wondering if I should bring her a bottle of wine to give her something to do? But then, she'd be crazy AND drunk.

Do you think her kids are okay?

I just hope she's not here to stay. They have a lock box on their front door. We should be so lucky.

How is it bothering you that your neighbor is shoveling the street? Are you hanging out in the street, and therefore shoveling is annoying you as you try to enjoy your quiet, slushy street? Because if I were inside my house, I really couldn't give a crap if someone wants to spend his day outside shoveling in the street.

Actually, I think it's great that someone is willing to shovel your street.

Sometimes the sidewalks aren't cleared off, and people end up walking in the street. Or people prefer to walk their dogs in the street. It's nicer not to have a layer of snow to walk through.

Sometimes I like to back into my driveway. It's easier to do that with my puny car when the area is cleared off.
