Delco for the win.

you are correct, non Flex match DCU will use 2011 to develop and sit 2010 bench, DS told me not suiting up.

🤣🤣
Which professional academy suits up everyone for every game?
Not the MLS Next teams and ECNL teams suit up everyone for every game.

You have no clue about the academy world, just by this statement. Barring injuries, everyone gets suited up. You think academies overload their roster like a MLS Next or ECNL team?

ALL academies have more than 18 players per squad.
More than 18 can't suit up for games.

Therefore, all can't play every game Shirley

Yea and a few play up. Hence, everyone getting suited up dummy. Does DCU not do this?

The bottom line is that everyone doesn't get rostered for every game. Even when players are not playing up.

Wrong. I don't know about DCU and how they run things, but not at the academy DS is at. So your question about "which professional academy suits everyone up" was wrong.

Explain slowly to everyone how the U15's at NYRB has 24 players and all play in a game when the MLS Next roster limit for a game is 18?
Take your time

You have about 18 u15s and the rest are u14s. Couple u15s play up. Hence, all the u15s suit up and play barring any injuries. NYRB probably the same. I would write this in crayon for you if I could.

Did you even read the question?

Some people actually believe if you use a lot of words and repackage the nonsense you said before, it will fool people 🤣

Some people believe that DCU runs a strong academy. 😭

Still here. Not hating but providing the realities of DCUs crap academy. But the wins and losses don't matter right? 😂 Can't have it both ways. Already said if DCU won every game it wouldn't make them a good academy. Just an academy that wins some games. That is still true today. You're happy that DCU beat a non MLS academy?? This is what they are supposed to do. But you're not focused on the wins and losses though? Riiiiiiiight. DCU could win every game all year and would still be one of the worst academies in the MLS.

The academy system isn't about winning games. It's about producing quality footballers. Something that DCU has proven it can't do consistently.

I'm trying to find the MLS Academies that are putting out top tier professional footballers consistently

😂 None of them are putting out top tier professionals consistently. No one said that. But many of them are putting out more pros than DCU. We've already posted the homegrown numbers. It is what it is.

In all my years of coaching soccer, I've never seen size of players above U13 being enough

Here is a better idea. Don't write an article for a podcast because podcasts are spoken and not written. Why don't you write an article about DCUs lack of commitment to its academy and how it is wasting a talent rich footballing region. Use this thread as your basis and background. Should be a good article.

I don't need to see the games or know the results to know that Delco probably outplayed DCU. Regardless of whatever the result was, I can almost guarantee this.

Agree with you. Above a certain age you actually have to play.

Even if DCU won, which it should be able to do against a non MLS academy, it isn't about winning. It is about learning how to play. And DCU isn't teaching.

"But many of them are putting out more pros than DCU"

Name the MLS academies in your "many" statement?
Where can we find the list of Professional players currently playing in Division 1 senior leagues that came through MLS Academies?

I didn't know 100% of Professional players had a Homegrown designation

Is the process of giving someone a Homegrown designation objectively done by a neutral committee of soccer entities like FIFA and US Soccer?
Or does each individual club use their own subjective policies and politics?
