Official RNC convention thread

He has NO plan and rambled for an hour and a half about a fictional character who he thinks is dead, but the actor is alive and the character never dies in the movie.

He also has no idea who the gov of WI is.

Bigly.

I couldn't watch the whole thing, it was so cringe. I hadn't watched one of his speeches in a while. Maybe since he was in office. He's so much worse than I remember. Low energy, rambling, incoherent. His brain is pure mush. I'm really hoping the democrats can offer up someone who is coherent so I can vote for someone normal.

Same. This whole convention is a disaster. I think the media is being overly generous because of the assassination attempt, but the reality is Trump is a weak candidate, old, a terrible public speaker, who is extremely negative and divisive. Lots of “smoke and mirrors” to this whole convention. It’s all just a show and a fabrication.

Theoretically, he should be a very easy candidate to beat.

Did you see the expression on JD’s face while the court jesters entertained the king? It was almost as if he finally came to the realization that after spending half of his life trying to escape his carnie family he ended up a member of the circus anyway.

Oh so no plan to put people in “camps?”

Which one is it, a rambling plan less guy speaking incorrectly about fictional characters, or Hitler reborn with plans to imprison millions of people on American soil for an unspecified reason?

Yes whether people love trump or not they are sick of the Marxist socialism brainwashing that has weakened this country and will vote red.

People are sick of the stupid demonizing of their fellow citizens by extremist republicans like you who wouldn’t recognize a Marxist if he was singing the Internationale right in front of you. You probably are one of those who loves China and Trump’s cosying up to those literal Marxist commies.

Tom Homan was Trump’s director of ICE, authored Project 25, and will be Trump’s DHS director. Here’s his plan as delivered in a keynote speech at the RNC the other night.

After he talks about the people who love him, the dictators who he admires love him. Then he calls South and Central Americans seeking asylum murderers and mentally ill instead of laying out a plan to control immigrants.

How can anyone seriously listen to this and not think, gee he sure does spend a lot of time talking about himself and not much on problem solving or policy details.

He laid out a plan: close the border.

Now whether liberal 9th circuit judges decide to legislate from the bench and abuse their powers by issuing nation-wide injuctions, or whether Democrats are willing to admit how wrong their immigration policies are and sign on to purely restrictive immigration legislation—is another story.

“Close the border” is not a plan.

It’s a winning plan, coupled with mass deportation of illegal immigrants.

Jewish people have something to say about mass deportation.

'A manifesto on replacement theory: GOP mass deportation plan alarms Jewish groups

It would have been much better for the Jewish people if they had been mass deported. Jewish people weren’t mass deported, they were placed into extermination camps in other countries Germany had invaded and built concentration camps inside. Jewish people were killed en masse in those camps while Germany lied to the world about the concentration camps and set up elaborate hoaxes within the camps to fool the Red Cross into being Jewish prisoners were being treated well.

Trump isn’t floating a plan like that, he’s said he wants illegal immigrants to leave our country, a country they have no legal right to be in.

Trump’s plans for mass deportation will absolutely involve camps. They were even admitting that this week.

Not camps where the US will hold people indefinitely and lie to the world about it.

Camps/processing facilities that illegal immigrants are processed out of the United States through.

It’s reasonable to process people out of our country who are here illegally at central locations equipped to do that.

Why do you think Trump is going to round up illegal immigrants and keep them imprisoned in camps? What is he going to do with millions of people living in the camps? They are just going to be held in american prison camps indefinitely? What’s Trump’s plan, according to you?

I'm sorry - are you asking me to create Trump's deportation plan? I saw what it looked like when children were thrown in baby jail away from their parents the last time. I don't really need to give him the benefit of the doubt what it'd look like this time.

And you can't just "mass deport" people without a hearing unless they waive it. So yes, there will be camps.

Except the "marxist socialism brainwashing" is coming from the right. there isn't actual marxism or socialism coming from the democrats.

Funniest thing I’ve read all day. Nope it’s the wokes my fellow American. Wake up.

You mean JP Mandel?

(which is what Trump has been calling his VP pick)

You are spreading disinformation and lying.

He clearly stated that Trump is sending illegal immigrants back to their home countries.

He clearly stated that the drug smugglers and cartels that are bringing fentanyl into the United States and killing Americans will be wiped off the face of the earth.

You think drug smugglers and cartels that kill Americans should not be wiped off the face if the earth? You think we should allow them to kill our citizens without any consequences?

Trump ICE head warns Mexican cartels they could be wiped off "face of the earth"
https://www.axios.com/2024/07/18/thomas-homan-republican-national-convention-immigration

Thomas Homan, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, warned Mexican cartels on Wednesday that former President Trump, if re-elected, would wipe them "off the face of the earth.”

So democrats are pro- Mexican cartel. As if we couldn’t tell already.

No- you said you know what is going to happen when Trump deports people and posted an article about Nazi Germany and concentration camps.

Did you see the baby jail during Obama and Biden administrations, or were you blind during democrat president baby jail?
