+1 Absolute fidelity to the truth and being extremely cautious about second hand information that is probably true but can't be 100% proven is so critical to political success. I was a hard core Trump supporter until he lied about his inauguration numbers. Please, it really hurts conservatives when Trump and his supporters make stuff up or even when they shade the truth a bit. I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I'm starting to become uncertain about that hurricane map with the sharpie markings and even the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine. |
PP is troll. |
How can you not see it from that really clear video? ![]() |
PP you replied to. You can refute it with accuracy, instead of insinuating that this video supports claims that Trump was agitated and lunged in front of him. And YES, court of law. What do you think is the entire goal of these hearings? What do you think they're trying to push on the DOJ? OF COURSE WE WANT TRUMP TO END UP IN A COURT OF LAW. So stay accurate in your dealings, PP. Don't muck up your own side. |
What are you ranting about? Who said the dumb video could be used in a court of law? Why are people obsessing over nonsense when the bigger news is that at Trump’s instruction Meadows dialed into the “war room,” that he knew the crowd was friendly and wouldn’t hurt him and a dozen other things. |
When is the next hearing scheduled? |
Do I believe he "tried to choke him out?" Not really. Do I believe he flailed around wildly and possibly tried grabbing at his security guy? Yes, I find that very believable. |
He's definitely flapping his arms around but the Suburban is leaving the back way. There's no crowd for him to be waving to. |
Nobody claimed this is a video of Trump choking anyone. POs are pretending people said that so they can at least have something to refute. Lame. |
While not mentioning that Trump directed Meadows to attend the coup planning meeting the night before. Cippoline (“Patsy Bologna”) told him he shouldn’t attend so he called in. That’s the actual story. They know Trump was involved in planning the coup. |
Well, as none of us is privy to what the Committee is sharing with DOJ, if anything, it is all conjecture on our part. I would imagine that DOJ is doing its job and biding it's time. Prosecuting a former president has never been done before and it behooves DOJ and the rest of us to get it right the first time because we only get one time. The Committee will make recommendations at end of hearings to their conclusions. This Committee only has until end of 2022 whereas DOJ has until Jan. 20, 2024. So, there is time. Be patient. I doubt Garland has a sweet spot for Republicans. |
