I'm a registered Republican and I wince every time I hear her. Please tell me I'm not alone...
-Ready for her 15 minutes to be OVER. |
You're not alone. It's painful to hear about her, let alone listen to her actually speak. |
I just can't understand why anyone would want her help campaigning? I was considering voting for McCain in the election until I learned enough about her...
I try to ignore her and not click or view coverage of her, but UGH. I have several aunts and uncles who are way into her, and I just want to be like, ARE YOU FOR REAL SHE IS AN IDIOT. Sorry. Vent. |
I'm not a Republican but with all of the bright - republician women if you want one - out there, why her? It's a slap in the face. Are we that happy to see a female run? |
To the original question, not so much. . however we love how she makes Liberals squirm... It is like watching a comedy show. |
That's not squirming, it's just the discomfort of trying to control the vomit reflex. And she seems to be contagious; McCain of late causes a similar reaction with his attempts to destroy any hint of the integrity he used to show. |
This would imply she says anything remotely challenging, something that would ring so true as to make one uncomfortable. I agree with PP: it's really just so much control of the gag reflex. |
OP here. DH is one of those liberals- I asked him and he confirmed- it is the vomit reflex. Our marriage works because we are united in our mutual contempt for SPs neverending famewhoring. |
Speaking of bright women, how about this one: http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/02/with-the-help-of-roger-stone-spitzers-madam-planning-her-political-debut.php?ref=fpb |
A shining star! Hey at least she has her own ideas. More than I can say for Palin. |
I'm not one but my dad is and he said as much starting after the convention and since. |
I wince too. I cannot stand the way she speaks. Of Yoda from Star Wars it reminds me. |
My DH is a registered R and he does not like her. One of the main reasons he voted for Obama was because of her. On a girls night out, a few of my friends that are Republicans talked about liking her. They are all SAHMs and said they like what she is contributing to society by being a working mom. I'm not sure what their stance on me was since I told them I voted for Obama and work FT. Maybe we all had too much wine that night! |
Either your friends were really drunk or you need new friends. |
I have a rabid Republican friend (she spearheaded her local tea party for instance) and she quotes... QUOTES Sarah Palin in her emails and FB page. |
