| Tied are changing....ASA 09 boys beat the almighty Bethesda boys! |
| 11 year olds? deserves its own thread? lol. jesus. |
| Also, the Tigers finally beat the Gladiators. It was an amazing come-from-behind 4-3 win. The son of the Tigers’ coach, who was benched by his crazy Dad in the semis, scored the winning goal! |
congrats. pretty dramatic shifts on that roster from last year, and I suspect the same will be true for some other clubs and teams. And of course the coaching at U12 up is a lot different and better. I cannot imagine Bethesda is having an easy time scrimmaging or praticing in MoCo. We'll see how things shake out by the end of the year. Better competition is better for all. |
| Parents that are this obsessed over kids sports disturb me. |
|
is this a joke?
09 rivalry? and someone is actually boasting about it in a public forum. I have no dog in this fight but its just simply ridiculous that someone is this obsessed with play between 09 kids to the point they are touting a victory and talking about a shift in the tide |
bethesda teams are practicing 3+ times a week and most have have multiple scrimmages (5+) or games already. With others scheduled every weekend moving forward. |
| Let these people have their fun. We are in the middle of a pandemic. Can do without your constant negativity. |
| No one cares about the results until after puberty (and even then, they shouldn't). |
Arlington has been beating Bethesda at most boys age groups for a while now. This is not really new. |
As opposed to being obsessed with . . . Grown up sports played between people you don’t know in a place where you don’t live among people wouldn’t give you the time of day? As opposed to being obsessed with politics? Climate change? Privilege and racism? Restaurants? Hamilton? Any obsessions that don’t disturb you? This is the epitome of the hypocrisy that reigns supreme on these threads. Guess what? The ulittles have more relevance to your life than any of those other thing among the aforementioned. Stop being so obtuse. And don’t tell me that it’s ok to become fanatical when they are U14 but not when U13. Utter nonsense all the way around. |
|
I think this thread is amusing. Why not let parents have their fun?
|
Nor true. Some boys no scrimmages and 1 game so far. |
|
The Bethesda youth teams are a mess.
They pick the kids that are fastest and kick the hardest for the top teams, then joystick the hell out of them. They never figure out which kids have any creativity or soccer IQ, and as they get older, they get more and more exposed. |
