Exceptions are people diagnosed with celiac and wheat allergy. I am sick of this fad and I have no patience for it. Watch them all eat the "devil" gluten when they just can't resist some dessert! There is nothing wrong with bread. Some people get bloated when eating certain grains, like oats, barley, and wheat. So, don't over it like you are little ms piggy and you will be fine. Most gf people do it because it is a fad. Rich people problems. Wheat feeds the world, we should celebrate it and we have been celebrating it around the world. Instead of a cross, we should put a halo on wheat and all grains! Halleluja, praised be the bread.
Pray do argue with me, if you follow GF but do not have celiac of a wheat allergy. Prove me wrong! |
| That is quite the throw down. Can't wait for all the "scientific" responses. |
| Are you ok, OP |
heh heh. this will be interesting. OP, I agree. The true celiacs I know are very low key and very serious about it. You don't turn around and catch them having a piece of cake that they can't resist... |
|
Speaking of rich people problems... I love bread and pasta and I give 0% of a sh!t regarding what other people eat or don't eat. |
No, OP is obviously not okay. I think OP just confirmed that it’s true. Pfizer’s Zoloft Falls Into Shortage as Virus Strains Supplies https://news.bloomberglaw.com/health-law-and-business/pfizers-zoloft-falls-into-shortage-as-virus-strains-supplies |

| For people who are really gluten intolerant eating bread is very painful. |
No such thing as intolerance. Please cite scientific studies for this fake diagnosis. To other pps, thank you for your concern for my mental health. I am allegedly not mentally ill. |
Well, if you overbake it... for sure. |
So true, "Just this one croissant won't cause me trouble, but your soy sauce will." On par with hysteria about msg, which is plain xenophobia. |
You have a mental problem. |

Whatever OP, why would I care what your stupid opinion is? All I know is that when I quit eating gluten, I felt much better. After 6 months or so I introduced small amounts and all is still fine.
Good thing about that is that since small amounts do not bother me, I don't have to go on about it if I am in a situation where eating gluten is necessary in order to be a polite guest. |
| I have a coworker with coeliac disease. The fad should be making his life so much easier, but gluten-free is a voluntary label that may or may not be true. Before, there was no reason to make the claim if a product contained gluten, now there is |
