Most people that do gluten free are fakers and attention seekers

Anonymous
I think a lot of people are confused about why they are getting fat and tired as they age, and desperate for any answers other than needing to cut calories and exercise more.

I watched my aunts go through this stage growing up. I don’t remember what “gluten” was in those days, maybe sugar? But they were constantly eliminating some food or another.

OP has too much time on their hands.

Pray do argue with me, if you follow GF but do not have celiac of a wheat allergy. Prove me wrong!

People who obsess over their own diets are bad enough but people who obsess over what other people eat, and the amount of bloating they experience, are the worst. What hurt you so badly along the way that you care this much about how much about what other people eat or doubt how much they fart? Get a life, OP. Is there really no better target for your hatred than those who eat a gluten free diet? Is the MCPS forum quiet today?

Good thing about that is that since small amounts do not bother me, I don't have to go on about it if I am in a situation where eating gluten is necessary in order to be a polite guest.

So you can politely accept that piece of cake. What a relief.

I know someone who does not have celiac disease (she says she is sensitive to gluten) who said her niece needed to stay away from her because her shampoo wasn't gluten free. This was during a family reunion weekend at a resort. It was so very obviously a ploy for attention in that she made a big deal out of feeling excluded. (I guess she was offended that the family chose not to banish the 10 year old girl from the party?)

Must be a disciple of Trump school of posting! Same deflecting narrative? Let me guess, you are gf even though you don't have celiac or a wheat allergy? Did I accidentlay target you?!
Dcum is meant for people like me and you are posting here and in the same exact vein...you are like me.

What is BS? That she didn't want to be around the kid because of the shampoo? Or are you saying I myself made this up?

Huh? I somehow don't imagine Trump supporters are much into the gluten free diet but correct me if I"m wrong (I'm not one). I'm not gluten free either. I eat whatever I want to. I also don't get my panties in a twist over what other people eat or how much they fart afterwards.

I'm saying you made that up to make the gluten free dieter look as ridiculous as possible. Not buying it.

Being on a gluten free diet is supposed to affect mood. Maybe OP and the other haters on this thread should try being gluten free for a few days. It could save their marriages and heal their empty, sad lives.

Imagine being this upset over what other people do and don’t eat.

I was referred to a rheumatologist for extremely high ANA. As part of my rounds of testing, I was screened for celiac which was negative. However the doctor recommend going gluten free so I did. Only thing I changed. My levels are normal now, no more inflammation in my body, and I feel so much better. There’s a lot more to gluten free than just celiacs. Sorry that bothers you so much OP.

Nope!

This is my friend's sister. Friend told me the story. Then the next time sister was in town, I met her. She (sister) made an off handed comment to me that she has to drive separately everywhere because she can't be in confined spaces with her niece due to the gluten in her shampoo. She said even when they're in the same house she feels the effects (niece is the only member of the family with long hair).
