Building gym at home

I am close to finishing my basement. I have see many great indoor gyms people have posted on internet.

Would anyone here recommend links/urls to good equipment, benches and bars?

There are many reports of people getting scammed online or waiting like 3-4 months until stuff arrives.

My budget is $2,500

Well, waiting 3-4 months is not unusual if you

1. Order back ordered stuff during a pandemic when EVERYONE is setting up a home gym
2. Order stuff that is being fulfilled overseas

What are your requirements? Our flooring cost us $1000 alone.

Good weights, budget average $1/lb. A decent bench will cost you a few hundred. Watch for things that you want eg. Does it lie completely flat and to the angle that YOU want to do flies, etc. Or, will you have a flat bench and a seated bench? What’s your footprint?

I ordered dumbbells through fitnessfactory.com and was impressed with their prices and shipping fees that weren't off the charts like other places. They have a lot of equipment on their site, although I don't have experience with ordering more than weights. What I ordered arrived quickly, though.

Rogue equipment is very high-quality, made in the US, and they are straight shooters, although there are delays because of the pandemic.

I have a squat stand, barbell, plates and a bench from them, total probably $2000. I am never sorry to have bought the stuff, especially now.
