Will Pipeline become the dominant girls club the Richmond to Baltmore I-95 Corridor?

I know folks here hate Baltimore but now that Pipeline is in the ECNL, can we stop pretending that the club is not the top girls club? The club's only travel in the conference is PDA.

Unfortunately you're about to be branded Pipeline Dad.

You may well be right, but it might be worth waiting for a few games to make that determination. Seems kinda presumptuous to make a blanket statement before the season even starts.

I have to say I feel bad for the boys teams. At least in the age groups I'm familiar with (u14 and 15) they are going to roll through unopposed. Would have been better if they could have had boys play in the MLS league.

Sure thing, buddy. We'll have an internet coronation ceremony and send you your tiara in the mail.

Looking at previous results, Pipeline girls were strong and that is with BA/WS taking a few top players from each age group. Now that the club is ECNL, it not only will roster the DA players on the ECNL team but it will pull players from Frederick, Upper MoC, HowCo, BC and AACo that previously played at BSC and MUFC.

I think you’re selling Pipeline short here. A reasonable person might speculate that Pipeline might be the top girls club in the world. Look at their results in EDP, why wouldn’t that be replicated on the worlds stage?

And to all you haters just stop now because you’re gonna feel foolish when by this time next year Pipeline will become US Soccer.

I’m not sure why their U16’s aren’t already playing in NWSL. Haters and politics I suppose.

Richmond has pretty strong teams. The DMV has nothing. So yes Pipeline could easily be dominate is an area with many weak teams.

club is still run by low-life money grubbers. sean rush is funded by daddy's money and lives on daddy's farm because of the coppermine lawsuit.

coaching is everything which pipeline falls massively short on (as do most clubs)

When they have a year with lots of good players, they’ll be the best. When other clubs have years with lots of good players, they’ll be the best.
Threads like this are SO stupid.

Things have changed. The soccer landscape is different vs before girls DA. There are clubs that only draw because of ECNL and pulled girls from a wide area. Now these clubs are having trouble field competitive teams. The DMV is just nit that competitive of an area.

the DMV has more players than Baltimore or Richmond, they also have more clubs competing for those players. If Baltimore somehow gets a dominant club, do you think kids will want to start for a lesser team or ride the bench for a better team? Will kids want to play for second or first teams? There are enough kids who would rather start and play that no teams can stay dominant

As Melania would say - BE BEST.
