oh come on, is it really such a surprise? What with the whole detonating a bomb and being the star of a new tv show, i would have thought Juliet's death was a foregone conclusion.
And OP, at the end, Miles said her last words were "it worked."
And who are these temple people? Have we seen any of them before other than the flight attendant and the kids (I always wondered what happened to the kids)?

Yes, they were "it worked". Which basically implies that somehow she figured out that the group made it to LAX after all and never met each other, on some other time plane. Great to see Boone, Charlie and Claire again! I think the temple people are the leftovers from the Black Rock, personally.

And yes, not cool to put a spoiler in the header. Bad OP!

I have a feeling she meets sawyer in another timeline, off island.

Then she said, "I have to tell you something really important..." then she dies.

Miles said that what she wanted to say was, "It worked".

The temple people are Richard's people. Remember when young Ben first met Richard in the woods? That was back when there were just "the others" in the Dharma initiative and these worn looking people in the woods, including Richard.

I think that perhaps some of them are from the ship Black Rock or something that a PP mentioned, especially Richard who doesn't age.

OP, don't put spoilers in the heading!!!! I'm going to have to remember to not read DCUM until after I watch the show.

9:16 here. It does seem to be that they are living on two different time planes now. Odd. I think that perhaps that is why it was important to save Sayid's life, because who knows what would happen to him in the other life if he died on the island.

Also, "smoke monster" is obviously John's avatar. But, what is the "smkoke monster?" The bad island spirit? And Jacob is the good island spirit? The good and bad forces of the island?

Does anyone else love/hate this show??

I admit I was riveted for 2 hours last night, but every time I watch Lost, I swear I'm quitting and am not watching the next week (and then, there I am, glued to the TV the next week).

I really don't have the emotional energy for this, yet I can't stop myself from watching and getting totally enmeshed in the bazillion tangled plot lines, looking things up online the next day (consequently wasting hours of time). TV is supposed to be an escape, and this clearly is not. Thank God it's the final season - I couldn't take another season.

The stewardess and the two kids from the plane were at the temple, too. Obviously just more Others.
