You have to be freaking kidding.

She used to be funny. Like legitimately funny and relatable. Her devotionals had a good mix of thoughtful/serious content and enjoyable real world application. I'm one of the people here who haunt this thread because I just can't understand how different she is now. How fake and forced and the last person I can can relate to or would want to. Her writing is all the things you said above. She's unrecognizable.

Can you link to some good ones from way back when?

I really like this one. This is from way back when she was still relatable and not annoying.

It's okay, though. Jen did all the work and carefully vetted both Oprah's people and Weight Watchers to make sure everything was on the up and up and there's was going to be no continued exploitation of weight and wellness shame with the usual gross profiteering! Jen did all the work and is now part of this new "conversation"! Aren't we lucky to have her? She's leading the conversation about how she had a magical post divorce body and belly button and some people online "attacked her" that no one really remembers at all.

I always loved that back to school PSA! It was so true and the advice was perfect and funny.

Now, if she would just apply it to herself...to stop the mad, frenetic marketing, get away from the crowd, lose the "boyfriend" and sell the big house and move into a more manageable condo.

Hatmaker-adjacent: Jamie Ivey posted that she is very hurt but her family has hope. I wonder how the next few months will go for them vs. the Hatmakers.

Jen's new podcast interview is an author whose new book is titled "My Guncle and Me"- what self-respecting gay man would call himself that word? It sounds like carbuncle.

Jen's publicist is celebrating the one-year anniversary of her husband's quintuple bypass; she posted a bunch of photos and one was a selfie of them like maybe a day or two after his surgery, with a fresh scar down his sternum. Do these people have NO decorum or boudaries? My dad had a bypass and for sure I wasn't going to ask him for a selfie in the hospital room.

Thanks for this. Great read. Makes it all the more shocking to see her hawking vagina lipstick.

Vagina lipstick? What did I miss?

One of Aaron's victims came out yesterday - Aaron groomed and sexually abused him from ages 16-20, he met Aaron when he was 15. He is a son of a former elder at Austin Stone, which Austin Stone previously said in their public announcement when it all came out that the minor male involved wasn't connected to the church. So many lies.

His name is Logan, his story is posted on his Instagram _iamwildman_

Sorry, to be more specific, he was groomed by Aaron starting at age 15, and then was sexually abused by him ages 16-20.

Based on what Jamie has recently shown, it’s clear that she is choosing to stay married. I can understand forgiveness for infidelity but choosing to stay married to a pedophile is beyond comprehension. I’ll never listen to her podcast again.

How screwed in the head Jamie must be to think that her husband can “rehab” this away.

This is a deep cut but around the time that JH and BH announced their divorce the boys went on a rant about abusers in church. The families used to be close and I bet those kids are privy to a lot of these goingson.

Brandon and Jen once wrote books on the Christian faith and even started churches.

Do either of them even go to church anymore?

I find it beyond reprehensible that she’s opting to stay married to this abuser who did this for years to multiple people who were minors. I have no doubt she’s been highly hurt by this situation, but opting to stay with Aaron makes me look at her differently. Almost like she’s complicit. Aaron gets to keep his little happy family unit intact while his victims will have to live with what he did to them.
