Israel looks back on its school opening. Judging from pictures of the first day of school in Georgia, we'll be dealing with this on top of everything else in a few weeks.

Ha!
As if the US plans to learn from the experience of any other country. We don't do that. We need to make all our mistakes on our own. |
| Only one teacher died. |
This is what the U.S. Will do wait until a teacher does and close down again and day "it was only 1 teacher". Hello Hunger games, may the odds be ever in your favor. |
| Well according this forum, anything that's bad about Covid is trump's fault |
Just the management of the spread, testing and the treatment plan. |
|
For those who didn't read the whole way to the end:
But Israel is plunging ahead. Only one option has been ruled out: closing the schools. “This is a long-term pandemic,” said Dr. Nadav Davidovitch, a pandemic policy adviser to the government. “We cannot close schools for a year.” |
Thank you for pointing that out. |
| Israel dropped the mask requirements, and had the same number of kids crowded into small classrooms as usual. No, we should not do what they did, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t things we can do to open schools safely. |
May God have mercy on your soul. |
Give it a rest. Covid19 is not Trumps fault, no one is saying it is. The fact that it is RAMPANT in our country lays directly at his feet. He STILL doesn't get it. His lack of understanding, action, policy, and playing politics with a global health crisis is the the problem. You know what the real irony here is?? If he wasn't so pathetically mentally ill and such a base human being he could have been the HERO of this pandemic. If he would have simply listened to the people who are the experts he could have embraced policy and actions, that while painful,l would have seriously stopped the spread in our country. He could have touted his response as SAVING 100,000's of lives, instead of trying to dismiss them. He could have probably assured his re-election by looking like a strong, smart, capable leader. Of course he is none of those things and here we sit. Stop trying to apologize for him and his failures, and stop being a SHEEP. Open your eyes to the reality of the situation and for GODS SAKE, turn off Fox News. |
+1 We live in a horrid country, we really do. |
Please tell all the people trying to get here that. It's cruel not to. |
Why? For acknowledging that this is a pandemic and that the consequence of that is...people will die? And statistically one death out of all those students and teachers is actually quite good? Let God have mercy on my soul then, too. |
NP here. What in the world is wrong with you? The PP with the Hunger Games analogy is right on. And your perspective is awful. People are not disposable. If you met the loved ones of that teacher, would you look them in the face and say "It's actually quite good?" |
