New MD mask policy

With Governor Hogan issuing new mandatory mask wearing orders that include outdoors when social distancing isn’t possible, does this mean that youth soccer players need to wear masks during camps and scrimmages/practices? The order provides an exception for swimming and physical activities where wearing a mask poses a bonafide health risk, but I don’t think soccer would qualify.

No. The “other physical activities” exception covers it.

Yes, they need to wear a mask. It is not dangerous to wear a mask when playing soccer. They have that exception for swimming so people dont drown.

Wearing a mask at soccer is crazy and dangerous

More theater from Hogan.

You are insane, of course it's dangerous for a kid unaccustomed to wearing a mask while exercising in humid, 90+ degree temperatures to suddenly wear a random-ass mask while physically exerting themselves in very hot weather.

I’m not the PP.

I don’t know if it’s dangerous or risky to wear masks based upon the oxygen intake level. But i will say this, I find it hard for me to breath normally and get tire easily while wearing a mask just walking around. (I’m not an anti-masker as I wear a mask each and every time i go out especially if there are others around.)

Hence, I wouldn’t want my DD to faint while running around with a mask on.

It obviously meets the exercise exception. Use your brain people.

Do you have an Etsy link where I can purchase said random-ass mask?

While I’m not saying that anyone including kids to wear masks while exercising or playing soccer, what you you think of this exercise mask made by Under Armour? It’s made for exercising.

There’s not going to be a fall season. How many tiptoe around the elephant in the room threads need to be created before people understand this?

Please stop with the crazy excuses about masks. Just wear them.
